Transmision, on the Ed Sullivan Show, of "Let It Be" and "Two Of Us" clips. Last time, in life of the group, they appear in the program.
Charles Manson's album "Lie" is released on Awareness Records. Profits go to Manson's defense.

1972
Extension is granted to John's visa for temporary residence in the USA.
Recording of Some Time In New York City begins.
1974
John requests for a temporary restraining order of the INS (Immigration and Naturalisation Service) appeal ruling on his deportation case.
1975
John and Yoko attend the ceremony of the Grammy Awards.
Paul wins two Grammys for his album Band On The Run; "Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Group" and "Best Produced Non-Classical Recording".
The Beatles receive a special "Grammy Hall Of Fame Award".
1976
Willy Russell's play "John, Paul, George, Ringo... And Bert" opens in Birmingham.
1984
The newspaper "The Dallas Morning News" reveals that George and Ringo will be accepting Liverpool's Freedom of the City award and that Yoko will accept it on behalf of John.
1985
New York premiere of the Handmade film "A Private Function".
1986
Yoko's tour continues with a performance in The Hague in the Netherlands.

The private German radio station OK Radio, in Hamburg, West Germany, begins transmitting a weekly series entitled "Beatles Forever".
