The Beatles played two separate shows at the same venue, the Majestic Ballroom in Birkenhead, Merseyside. First they played a standard Majestic booking then at midnight, the first-ever "Mersey Beat" poll awards show took place.
1964
US album release: Beatles '65 (Capitol ST 2228).
1965
Rubber Soul number 1, 2nd week (UK Record Retailer).
TV appearance, on "Here Comes The Pops".
1966
Studio 2. 2:30-12:00pm. Recording: "Strawberry Fields Forever" (overdub onto take 25, tape reduction take 25 into take 26, overdub onto take 26). Mono mixing: "Strawberry Fields Forever" (remixes 5-9, from take 26). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Geoff Emerick; 2nd Engineer: Phil McDonald.

The 5th "Christmas Record" is sent to the members of the Fans Club.
1969
US album release: Live Peace In Toronto 1969 (Apple SW 3362 [US]).
Launch of "War Is Over" campaign organized by John and Yoko. Posters and billboards are displayed in 12 important cities around the world.
The Lyceum, London. "Peace For Christmas" gig in aid of UNICEF, by the Plastic Ono Supergroup (John, Yoko, George, Billy Preston, Eric Clapton, Keith Moon, Delaney & Bonnie, and others). 25 minutes. John's last performance in Britain. Recorded, included in Some Time In New York City.
Other acts: the Rascals, Desmond Dekker and the Aces, Blue Mink and Black Velvet.
BBC broadcasts a 1-hour documentary about John in the program "Twenty-Four Hours".
1970
At the Kolnischer Kunstverein in Cologne, West Germany, the exhibition of Yoko's work "Happening And Fluxus" is shown.
1971
In New York, John and Yoko attend a reception honoring U Thant, the retiring UN Secretary General.
Paul and Linda appear on New York radio station WCBS-FM, promoting his new group Wings and their album Wild Life.
1972
ABC-TV broadcasts the "One To One Concert" (filmed August 30, 1972).
1974
George performs in concert (2 shows) at the Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, New York ("North American Tour").
John and May Pang attend George's concert.
1979
Wings perform in concert at the Odeon, Edinburgh, Scotland ("Wings UK Tour").
During tonight's concert, electrical power is lost. The audience is entertained by Denny Laine doing acrobatic tricks and the "Max Wall" walk, the brass section perform "When The Saints Go Marching In" and Linda leads a singalong until power is restored.
1983
Ringo records the narration for 26 more episodes of "Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends".
In Los Angeles, the Linda exhibition "Photographs" is displayed at the Molly Barnes Gallery.
1984
Paul introduces the promo video for "No More Lonely Nights" on the MTV program "MTV Top 20".
In the UK, Julian Lennon appears on the ITV network program "Tarby & Friends", hosted by Jimmy Tarbuck. Julian performed "Too Late For Goodbyes".
1986
BBC Radio One transmits part two of a three-part interview with Paul.
1987
The "Beatle City" exhibition runs at the West End marketplace in Dallas, Texas.
At AIR Studios in London, Paul works on new songs with George Martin for the "Rupert The Bear" movie.
1989
Paul's concert at Madison Square Garden, New York ("Get Back Tour").
In the US, Paul and Linda donate $100,000 to the Friends Of The Earth organization.
1991
George and Eric Clapton perform in concert at Tokyo Dome Stadium, Tokyo ("Tour Of Japan").

EMI announces the possibility of a new Beatles single, taken from The Beatles Live At The BBC LP.
In the US, Capitol Records announce that their choice for a single will be "Baby It's You".

Anthology 1 number 1, 2nd week in the Top 5 ("Feria del Disco" record stores English music, Chile).
Anthology 1 number 25, 2nd week in the top 30 (chart based on Santiago record stores sales, Chile).
Pauline Sutcliffe, Stuart's sister, issues a writ against Apple Corps Ltd. in respect of the deal offered to her for the use of Stu's recorded material on Anthology 1.
1997

At the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford, Yoko's art exhibition "Have You Seen The Horizon Lately" is on display.

In Washington, D.C., an exhibition of Beatles photographs taken by Harry Benson is on display at the Govinda Gallery.

In Tampa, Florida, the exhibition of Linda's pictures entitled "Sixties" is on display at the Tampa Museum of Art.
2010
Bonhams Entertainment Memorabilia holds an auction. Some of the items are handwritten lyrics for "I’m Only Sleeping", an acoustic guitar used during the Walls And Bridges recording session and a written note of personal expenses from May 1968.
