Ringo purchases John's former mansion Tittenhurst Park.

The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.

The "Beatle City" exhibition runs at the West End marketplace in Dallas, Texas.
1988
At the NFT (National Film Theatre) in London, a celebration honoring Handmade Films. All of Handmade films are shown from "Monty Python's Meaning Of Life" to the current release, "Track 29".
1991
Paul's film "Get Back" has its world premiere in Hamburg, Germany at the Passage Kino cinema.
1993
Paul performs in concert at Westfalenhalle, Dortmund, Germany ("The New World Tour").
In the UK, to promote the upcoming re-release of The Beatles 1962-1966 and The Beatles 1967-1970, the ITV Network "Chart Show" airs the second promo film for "Hello Goodbye". This is the first time ever to be shown on UK TV.
1996
At Sotheby's in London, Julian Lennon successfully bid just over £21,000, for the recording notes for the song Paul wrote for him, "Hey Jude". At the same event, John's scribbled lyrics to "Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite" sold for £57,500.
1997
In London, Paul and Linda's daughter Stella is named "Best Young Designer" at the annual "Elle" Style Awards.
1998
In Los Angeles, a Linda McCartney PETA tribute is held.

Paul and Heather attend the Adopt-A-Minefield benefit in Los Angeles, California

NME's "Ultimate Musical Icon of the last 60 years" votes John Lennon as the ultimate icon of NME's 60-year history.
2013
In Los Angeles, the exhibition "The Early Beatles Collection," featuring images taken by Astrid Kirchherr, runs at the Leica Gallery. Images include pictures taken during the filming of "A Hard Day's Night" in 1964 for Stern Magazine, as well as some of the images she took of the musicians during their Hamburg, Germany, period in 1960.
The exhibit Linda McCartney retrospective is displayed at the Kunst Haus Wien in Vienna, Austria. The new exhibition is the first comprehensive retrospective of Linda McCartney’s work featuring 190 of her iconic photographs.
