1966
Britain's Embassy at Manila protests after the incidents occurring yesterday, during the Beatles leave from Philippines.

A piece of the "Yellow Submarine" film is screened in advance on BBC-TV's "Release".

John and Yoko leave the hospital, after their car crash in Scotland. They return to England.

With the conclusion of the legal disute between Vestron and PMI, "A Hard Day's Night" is released by Vestron on home video in the UK and US.

Olivia Harrison decides to put their home up for sale for £20m saying she couldn't bear to live with the memories of the attack by schizophrenic Michael Abram who broke into their house in 1999.
2004
On the 40th anniversary of the world premiere of "A Hard Day's Night", a private reunion of the cast and crew was hosted in London by DVD producer Martin Lewis. The screening was attended by Paul, actors Victor Spinetti (the television director), John Junkin (Shake), David Janson (the boy met by Ringo on his "walkabout") and many of the crew members.

The exhibit Linda McCartney retrospective is displayed at the Kunst Haus Wien in Vienna, Austria. The new exhibition is the first comprehensive retrospective of Linda McCartney’s work featuring 190 of her iconic photographs.
