Brian returns from the Priory Hospital in Putney, London, to host a press launch for Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in the drawing room at 24 Chapel Street. After the party, Epstein returns to the Priory.
At the party, Paul meets Linda Eastman for the second time.
1968
Housewarming party thrown by Harold Pinter, 7 Hanover Terrace, London, with all Beatles in attendance.
1969
The 3 main Northern Songs share owners and ATV sign an agreement. John and Paul lose control over the company.

1973
Paul and Wings perform at Leeds University.
1976
Paul's concert at The Omni, Atlanta, Georgia ("Wings Over America Tour").
1978
At the Baynard Gallery, the exhibition of Linda's photograghs continues.
1979

In the UK, at his Hurtwood Edge home, Eric Clapton throws a party to celebrate his marriage to Patti Boyd, George's first wife. George, Paul, Ringo, Mick Jagger, Denny Laine, Ginger Baker and Lonnie Donegan join Eric on a stage, set up in a large marquee tent, and perform several old rock 'n' roll numbers, including some Beatles songs.
1980
Ringo and Barbara Bach are involved in a serious car accident. Ringo drags Barbara from the wreckage safely. After treatment at Queen Mary's Hospital in London, both are released.
Paul begins a fury of promotional appearances for his new album McCartney II. First stop is at the Trillion Studios, where Tim Rice interviews him for the program "Meet Paul McCartney".
1981
George and Olivia attend the Chelsea Flower Show in London.
1982
Paul makes a brief appearance at Air Studios to visit George Martin.
1984
The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.
1986
In the US, MTV begins broadcasting a ten-part series entitled "In My Life: The John Lennon File". On this day, Yoko conducts a press conference in Montreal.
1993
Paul's taped interview, from backstage before his concert in Columbia, south Carolina, is aired on the "Today" show.
1998
First clips of Ringo's promo video of "La De Da" airs on MTV Europe.
1999
Paul's art exhibition at the Kunstforum Lyz in Hamburg with 75 of his 500 private paintings.
2001
Mike Sammes, founder of The Mike Sammes Singers, died at the age of 73. He worked with Tom Jones, Cliff Richard and featured on The Beatles' "I Am The Walrus" and "The Long And Winding Road".
2012
The original printing plates for John’s first book are sold at auction for £4,800. Other Beatles memorabilia sold at Stockport-based Omega Auctions were a call sheet from the film "A Hard Day’s Night" signed by all four band members and Victor Spinetti was bought for £3,600 and a signed in-flight menu ahead of filming abroad for the film Help was snapped up for £6,000. A rare programme of the Beatles performance at the Urmston Show in August 1963 sold for £1,700.
2013
Paul performs in concert at the Amway Center, Orlando, FL (Out There World Tour).
James McCartney performs in concert at Club Helsinki, Hudson, NY (US Tour).
A guitar played by John and George sold for $408,000 at auction. The custom-made instrument, built in 1966 by VOX was bought by an unidentified US buyer in New York. Harrison played "I Am The Walrus" on the guitar in a scene from Magical Mystery Tour in 1967. Lennon used it in a video for "Hello, Goodbye" later that year.
