Paul's concert at the Los Angeles Forum, Inglewood, California ("Wings Over America Tour").
Ringo walks out on stage at Wings' concert, gives Paul some flowers, kisses Linda's hand, and grabs Paul's bass guitar as they walk off arm in arm.
1980
In Bermuda, John listens to Bob Marley's album Burnin' and is inspired to write the song "Borrowed Time".
German orchestra leader and songwriter Bert Kaempfert dies. In 1961, he hired the Beatles to back Tony Sheridan on recording sessions for Polydor. He was 56.
1982

In London, George attends the performance by Balkana, a Bulgarian choral music choir, at the Royal Festival Hall.
1989
John's 1956 four door Bentley S1 featuring a psychedelic paint job, purple leather interior, pink door-to-door carpeting, and purple/green paisley curtains is auctioned at Christie's.
In the US, Ringo appears on the ABC TV morning show "Good Morning America" to promote his upcoming tour. (taped June 20, 1989).
1990
In the US, Ringo records an interview for the music station VH-1.
