John returns to Record Plant Studios, to re-record tracks for the LP Rock'n'Roll, this time produced by himself.
1976
Wings performs in concert at the Empire Pool, Wembley ("Wings European Tour").
After the concert, EMI Records hosts a special party for Wings.
1977
US album release: Love Songs (Capitol SKBL 11711).
1983
Yoko is awarded a court settlement of £120,000 from a neighbor who accidently flooded her apartment when she left the bath water running and went out shopping.
1985
Recording of the TV special "Blue Suede Shoes: A Rockabilly Session With Carl Perkins And Friends". Appearance of George, Ringo, Carl Perkins and Eric Clapton.
At the Cuts Gallery in London, an exhibition of Dezo Hoffman's photographs from his book "John Lennon" is shown.
1987
George and Ringo visit Paul at his London home in St. John's Wood. They discuss future plans that include the long-awaited official Beatles' story "The Long And Winding Road", which would become "The Beatles' Anthology".
In the UK, the ITV network program "After Nine" airs part-two of their showcase as George as their Man Of The Week.
In the US, part-two of George's pre-recorded interview with Rona Elliot is aired on NBC's "Today" show.
The "Beatle City" exhibition runs at the West End marketplace in Dallas, Texas.
1989
Paul performs in concert at Olympiahalle, Munich, West Germany ("Get Back Tour").
1991
In London, part of John's "Bag One" collection is displayed at the gallery Smiths of Covent Garden.
In the UK, Paul's live concert film "Get Back" is released on PMI home video.
1992
In the US, Ringo makes a return appearance on the talk show "Arsenio". He performs the songs "Don't Go Where The Road Don't Go" and "Act Naturally".
1994
In the UK, George Martin appears on the BBC1 show "Pebble Mill" to promote his book "The Making Of Sgt. Pepper". Also appearing on the show are Victor Spinetti and Alf Bicknell, the Beatles' chauffeur, promoting his book "Baby, You Can Drive My Car".
1996
UK album release: Archaeology (Virgin VUS119), by the Rutles.
"The Beatles are now bigger than The Beatles"! This statement is based on sales so far this year, having sold 6,000,000 albums from their back catalog and a combined total of 13,000,000 copies of The Beatles Anthology 1 and [/i]The Beatles Anthology 2[/i]. With the release of The Beatles Anthology 3 a week away, it was anticipated that total Beatles album sales for 1996 would exceed 20 million. A poll showed that 41% of sales were to teenagers who were not even born when the Beatles officially broke up in 1970.
1998
In the US, Ringo appears on the ABC TV morning show "Live With Regis & Kathie Lee". He performs the song "Back Off Boogaloo".
1999
George Martin, who produced most of the Beatles albums, lends his reputation and four decades of music business experience to a start-up Internet company catering to unsigned bands. Martin announces that he will serve as chairman of the advisory board for Garageband.com.
2001
Concerts at Madison Square Garden and RFK stadium were held to raise millions in funds for the victims of the Sept. 11th attacks. Among the stars who appear include Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, *NSYNC, P Diddy, James Brown, David Bowie, The Who and Elton John.
2009
Alexander Autographs in Stamford, Conn., featured a selection of Beatles memorabilia in its Rock the Auction sale. The Beatles first-state (original), sealed, butcher cover album of “Yesterday and Today” went on the block and sold for $25,095.

•Beatles promo poster from Shea Stadium concert, photographic enlargement produced from original artwork supplied by Sid Bernstein Enterprises to Sullivan Productions, 1966, 36 inches by 48 inches, $454.
•Ringo Starr drawing signed by Ringo, from his appearance on the The Simpsons television show, 1991, 10 inches by 8 inches, $777.
•Abbey Road album signed by Ringo Starr; $956.
•Envelope signed by all four band members on verso, 5¾ inches by 4¼ inches, late 1962, $5,975
