In London, Paul and Linda host the third annual Buddy Holly Week. A midnight screening of "The Buddy Holly Story", starring Gary Busey, is shown at the Odeon Theatre. Keith Moon leaves before the end of the movie to return to the Mayfair flat he was sharing with Harry Nilsson. The next morning he is found dead in his bed. Some articles of clothing belonging to Ringo are found in the flat.
