15-year-old George Harrison joined the Quarrymen, the skiffle band founded by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The group was the first act ever to play the Casbah Club in Liverpool, which was run by the mother of Quarrymen drummer Pete Best.

Press conference for their concert at the Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles, California. Concert was taped for possible live album, but technical problems with Paul's microphone rendered most of the recording unusable.

Great Hall, Alexandra Palace, London. "Art Spectrum", modern art exhibition. 5 films of John and Yoko are screened: "Cold Turkey", "The Ballad Of John And Yoko", "Give Peace A Chance', "Instant Karma!", "Up Your Legs Forever".
"Crawdaddy!" publishes an article entitled "Yoko: The Film Maker".
1972
Final rehearsals for the One To One concerts are held at the Fillmore East Theater in New York.
1973
Paul receives word that Henry McCullough and Denny Seiwell will not accompany the group to Lagos, Nigeria.
1980
Day Twenty-one of Double Fantasy sessions: Recording "Dear Yoko" and "Cleanup Time".
1981
In Liverpool, the first "Mersey Beatle Extravaganza" is held at the Adelphi Hotel. Guest speakers include Philip Norman, author of "Shout!", Victor Spinetti and Brian Southall, publicity executive of EMI Records. Brian announces that EMI has a recording of a song called "Leave My Kitten Alone" and hope to release it on a new Beatles single.
At Sotheby's auction in London, Cynthia sells a Christmas card drawn by John. It net a record £8,800.
1983
Paul, Linda and family arrive at the close of the "MerseyBeatle" Convention to pick up Victor Spinetti, who was a guest speaker at the convention.
New York's Museum of Broadcasting showcase Beatles achieve clips documentary "The Beatles Early Days" and several other films from the museum's personal collection, including the "Ed Sullivan Show" appearances and excerpts from their Washington, D.C. concert on February 11, 1964.
Abbey Road's Number Two studio presents "The Beatles At Abbey Road", 3 times a day.
In London, Paul joins George Martin at AIR Studios for recordings.
1984
The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.
1985
At the annual Sotheby's auction in London, Paul's original handwritten letter to "Melody Maker" in 1970 sells for £10,000. An audio tape of the Beatles playing at the Cavern in July 1961 sells for £2,100. The man that booght both items was none other than Paul himself.
1986
The MPL/BBC special "McCartney" premieres on BBC1.
In New York, the world premiere of the Handmade Films production of "Shanghai Surprise".
A Beatles' home movie of the band's 1965 U.S. tour was auctioned off for $40,000 in London.
1987
The "Beatle City" exhibition runs at the West End marketplace in Dallas, Texas.
1989
Ringo and his All-Starr Band concert at the Cal Expo Amphitheater, Sacramento, California ("North American Tour").

1991
In London, Christie's auction house presents for the first time a sale of the Cynthia Lennon archive.
1995
Ringo and his All-Starr Band's concert at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada is cancelled.

Ringo and his Fourth All-Starr Band in concert at the Sporting Club, Monte Carlo ("1998 Summer Tour").
1999
In Liverpool, Cavern City Tours holds their annual Beatles Week.
In the US, Orlando, Florida hosts its first ever Beatlefest at the Caribe Royale Resort Suites Hotel.
2006
The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is voted the best #1 album of all time by the British public. The album released in 1967, topped the poll to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the UK album chart. The Beatles had a total of four albums in the top 10, with Revolver at #6, Abbey Road at #8 and The Beatles at #10.
2013
The exhibit Linda McCartney retrospective is displayed at the Kunst Haus Wien in Vienna, Austria. The new exhibition is the first comprehensive retrospective of Linda McCartney’s work featuring 190 of her iconic photographs.
