To mark the 20th anniversary of its release, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is released on CD. A party is held at Abbey Road Studios, George Martin and Paul attend.

The 1994 debut album by Oasis Definitely Maybe was voted the greatest album of all time in a survey to mark 50 years of the Official UK Albums Chart. The Beatles came in second and third place with Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Revolver.
2007
"The Beatles! Backstage and Behind-the-Scenes Photo Exhibit" at The Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey, Michigan.
Contemporary musicians recorded their own versions of songs from the Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album to mark 40 years since it was released. Acts including Oasis, Travis, The Fray, Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight, Bryan Adams and The Magic Numbers all worked with Geoff Emerick, the engineer in charge of the original 1967 sessions.
2012
A signed Beatles concert programme bought for two shillings at a Scottish theatre is expected to fetch up to £6000 at a future Christie’s auction in London. A Daily Record competition winner paid the equivalent of 10p for it at the Carlton Theatre in Kirkcaldy on Sunday, October 6 1963.
