In London, an out-of-court settlement is reached in the Beatles' lawsuit against "Dave Clark Ltd.". The outcome states that Dave Clark, former drummer for the Dave Clark Five, retains the rights to market the "Ready, Steady Go! shows which the Beatles made three appearances from 1963 to 1964.
