Не соображаете. Прекрасная подборка расцвета Apple!

Кстати, "Radha Krishna Temple" тоже выходил. Не знаю, насколько он редкий, но мне доcтался безо всяких проблем.

Мда, прошу прощения, уж слишком я эмоциям поддался и высказался, не полностью изъяснив то, что в принципе хотел.
Дурью маются не те, кто будут покупать (желают купить) сии ремастеры, а Эппловцы, которые вместо чего-то стоящего (битловского) выпускают по большому счёту исполнителей, известных миру менее чем Брэд Дуц иль Бобби Превит... нужны эти ремастеры, я уверен, ещё меньшей группе людей, коим подавай весь битловский каталог в 192-24 и в 5.1 в одном делюкс эдишне. И понятно, что качают не все. Но, согласитесь, скачавших и затем всё равно купивших ремастеры битловские 2009-ого будет в "изрядно" раз больше, чем тех, кто скачает и всё равно купит Мисс Хопкин иль Плохойпалец! :-) Каждому своё, тем не менее. :-)
Я рад за тех, кто воистину ждал этих ре-релизов. Мне просто стало досадно, что у Битлз нет ни одного официального ДВД с видео- и промо-клипами в ремастеренном качестве (например) иль Концерт в Холливуд Боул в максимально лучшем качестве, иль выступление в Шей Стэйдиум. Кэпитол Бокс выпустить можно было бы третий (с Хей Джудом и Йестердэй энд Тэдэй)... всё равно на них покупателей больше нашлось бы. Т. е. ещё релизить и релизить вплоть до 22-минутной Хелтер Скелтер и Карнавала Светлячков, но нет, выпускают что-то, на что большинству битломанов... ну сами понимаете, что эти ремастеры для большинства есть, что нет. А особливо, когда есть столько возможностей делать стоящие, нужные, интересные релизы и переиздания, становится вдвойне досадно, что адекватный релиз, скажем, Лет Ит Би отодвигается ещё на n лет. :-(
P. S. По крайней мере умельцы сделают ещё лучше по качеству аутфэйк Сауэр Милк Си (ежели стере-панораму трогать не будут.. что вполне вероятно, ежели с Битлз этого не делали)! :-)

Да, собственно говоря, почти весь этот каталог не столь давно был переиздан в Японии с полного согласия и одобрения Apple. Всё было выпущено очень качественно в формате мини-винила: и Badfinger, включая первый альбом The Iveys, и Хопкин (3 альбома), и многое другое.

вот как раз небитловские позиции то особо ремастирвоать и особо нечего.
проблема то как как с каталогом самих The Beatles.
когда он будет выпущен не с качеством издания для домохозяек - непонятно.

Как это нечего, если они на CD достойно в плане звука никогда не выпускались.

Это несложно понять на примере значительного улучшения на ремастерах The Beatles 2009 г. по сравнению с каталогом издания 1987 г.

То ли я на аппаратуре стоящей не слушал, то ли... не знаю, единственная разница, которую я заметил - в ремастерах громкость на несколько децибел подняли, кое-где инструменты звучат слишком зажато и неестественно (Тэксмэн меня расстроил, ещё чуть-чуть кажется, и был бы звук как на печально известном Калифорникэйшне). Что после 2009-ого порадовало, так это тот факт, что Первые четыре альбома наконец-то были выпущены в стерео. Ну, и всё собрание сочинений в моно (бокс просто феноменален, тут никаких претензий, да и не ожидал я такого). А, ну то, что дроп-ауты так называемые убрали в Канзас-Сити и Дэй Триппэре, тоже какой-никакой плюс... не знаю, я в ремастерах остался крайне разочарован.
P. S. Сравнивал композиции на альбоме 1 и на изданиях 2009-ого, разницы не заметил совершенно, такое впечатление, что все ремастеры тогда уж и были готовы, просто легальные причины мешали переиздания каталога. А соврать про 4-х летний труд - не сложно, кто же их проверять то будет?

Факт есть факт - есть улучшение при сравнении с тем, что было издано в 87-ом.

Пару дней назад получил письмо с дополнительной информацией, как подписчик на новости. К сожалению, не могу его найти. Речь шла о том, что помимо того, что каждый диск будет содержать кучу бонусов, будет издан ещё и сборник. Ну вот отыскал информацию на самом сайте

3 Maybe Tomorrow / The Iveys
The Iveys were brought to Apple by former Beatles roadie Mal Evans and ‘Maybe Tomorrow’ was a hit in Holland and a minor hit in the US, before the band changed its name to Badfinger.

4 Thingumybob / The Black Dyke Mills Band
Paul McCartney’s theme tune for a 1968 British TV comedy drama series, recorded by the most famous brass band in the world.

5 King Of Fuh / Brute Force
Brute Force is a New York songwriter and this single was championed by John Lennon and George Harrison, but ‘Fuh’ rhymes with ‘Uh’, and ‘the Fuh king’ was therefore banned back in 1969.

6 Sour Milk Sea / Jackie Lomax
Jackie Lomax has a great blue-eyed soul voice that more than does justice to this otherwise unavailable ‘White Album’-era song by George Harrison. Paul and Ringo provide rhythm and Eric Clapton plays lead guitar.

7 Goodbye / Mary Hopkin
Mary’s hugely successful follow-up to ‘Those Were The Days’ was written by Paul McCartney, and features Paul providing his own thigh-slapping percussion throughout.

8 That's The Way God Planned It / Billy Preston

Soul singer-songwriter Doris Troy had scored hits before coming to Apple in 1969, and she and George Harrison wrote ‘Ain’t That Cute’ from scratch in the studio — the first time George had ever written a song that way.

14 My Sweet Lord / Billy Preston
George Harrison produced this soulful, gospel version of his most famous solo song, which he gave to Billy Preston before he had recorded it and released it himself.

15 Try Some Buy Some / Ronnie Spector
Ronnie Spector, one-time Ronette and former wife of legendary producer Phil, recorded this George Harrison original in 1971. George later re-cut it himself for Living In The Material World, using the exact same backing as Ronnie’s single.

16 Govinda / Radha Krishna Temple
‘Govinda’ is a Sanskrit hymn to Krishna, and was a UK Top 30 hit for the Radha Krishna Temple in 1970. Produced by George Harrison, who also plays bass and accordion.

17 We're On Our Way / Chris Hodge
In 1972, Chris Hodge, a young British pop singer with a fascination for UFOs, caught the attention of Ringo Starr who signed Chris to Apple. ‘We’re On Our Way’ was recorded at Apple’s own studio in the basement of 3 Savile Row, London, and was a hit in America.

18 Saturday Nite Special / The Sundown Playboys
‘Saturday Nite Special’ is a lover’s lament sung in Cajun French by this cross-generational collective from Louisiana, USA, who came to Apple when their teenage accordionist sent in the song on a whim.

19 God Save Us / Bill Elliot & The Elastic Oz Band
John Lennon and Yoko Ono wrote this fundraiser for the defence in the famous Oz Obscenity Trial of 1971 and produced it too with Mal Evans and Phil Spector. Vocalist Bill Elliot later signed to George Harrison’s Dark Horse label.

20 Sweet Music / Lon & Derrek van Eaton
New Jersey’s Lon & Derrek van Eaton were one of the last acts to sign to Apple in 1971 and the first to make use of Apple’s then state-of-the-art recording studio. George Harrison produced ‘Sweet Music’ and Ringo played drums.

21 Day After Day / Badfinger
The band’s third single for Apple was produced by George Harrison, who duetted with the band’s Pete Ham on the slide guitar solo. It went UK Top 10 in 1972, and peaked at No. 4 Billboard in the US, in the same week that Nilsson’s cover of Badfinger’s ‘Without You’ was at No. 1.

EARTH SONG / OCEAN SONG (1971) by Mary Hopkin
Issued in 1971, this is Mary Hopkin's coming-of-age collection, packed with socially-conscious, lyrically-aware anthems from the cream of the era's folk protagonists: Ralph McTell, Gallagher & Lyle, Tom Paxton, Cat Stevens, Harvey Andrews and the relatively unknown Liz Thorsen who wrote the collection’s title songs, ‘Earth Song’ and ‘Ocean Song’. Mary defines her art on this album, co-ordinated by legendary producer and Mary's husband-to-be at the time, Tony Visconti.

THE WHALE (1970) & CELTIC REQUIEM (1971) by John Tavener (a 2-on-1 CD)
Sir John Tavener was knighted by The Queen in 2000 for his services to music, and he remains one of Britain’s most popular classical composers. Back in the late Sixties, John Tavener was championed by John & Yoko, and befriended by Ringo Starr. Apple's recordings of The Whale, his avant-garde oratorio, and Celtic Requiem, written for soprano, orchestra and children’s choir, were his first ever full-length releases, and remain extraordinary examples of British contemporary classical music.
This remastered CD also contains two supporting pieces, ‘Nomine Jesu’ (‘Name Of Jesus’) and ‘Coplas’ (‘Verses’), that were originally issued on the Celtic Requiem album in 1970, and were later reworked into the major Tavener composition of 1972 Ultimos Ritos. For this new CD, Sir John has re-presented The Whale as it was originally published in the score. Instead of spanning two tracks as per all previous releases, the oratorio has now been split into its seven discrete sections, allowing the listener for the first time to follow on record the individual elements of this early and most innovative work.

RADHA KRISHNA TEMPLE (1971) by the Radha Krishna Temple (London)
The latest addition to the 2010 Reissue campaign is The Radha Krishna Temple album, which was recorded by the London chapter of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness and was produced by George Harrison. The album is a collection of devotional chants and prayers to Krishna (another name for God) and to the movement’s own divinely-inspired spiritual masters. It spawned two Top 30 UK singles, ‘Hare Krishna Mantra’ (No. 12) and ‘Govinda’ (No. 23), and said George: “It was the greatest fun of all, really, to see Krishna on Top Of The Pops”. Krishna Consciousness can be defined as a “process of plain living and high thinking” that leads to spiritual knowledge, self-realization, as well as the greater goal of peace and happiness in the wider world.
This Remastered CD includes one Bonus Track:

Лучше, чем на CP-32 (издание Японии 80-х), Битлы в цифре не звучали и, почти уверен, звучать уже не будут. Хотя, - и от аппаратов-проводов зависит, и на вкус и цвет, как говорится...

Дошли до меня сегодня слухи из компитентных источников, что указанные в данной теме релизы артистов Эппл Рекордз можно будет купить, как по отдельности, так и все вместе в коллекционом боксе. Внешне их дизайн напоминает уже выпущенные битловские ремастеры, а также уже подготовленные к выпуску ремастеры Леннона. Что-то полюбились релизёрам 4-х панельные диги паки.

Badfinger’s swansong for the label was first released in November 1973 in the US and in March 1974 in the UK. It contained their final single for the label “Apple Of My Eye” and was produced by Chris Thomas and Badfinger except for “The Winner” and “I Can Love You” which were produced by Todd Rundgren. All original titles were mixed by Chris Thomas and Badfinger.
The previous CD featured one bonus track, the 2010 edition includes five:- A different version of “Do You Mind” plus a previously unreleased early mix of “Apple Of My Eye”, previously unreleased versions of “Blind Owl” and “Timeless”. “Regular” a fun song, written by Joey Molland and previously unreleased is also included. All these titles were produced by Badfinger.

Badfinger were the most consistant of all the Apple artists releasing four albums under that name.
Magic Christian Music was the first and was recorded at a time when they were still known as The Iveys. At that time the group consisted of Pete Ham, Tom Evans, Ron Griffiths and Mike Gibbins. Paul McCartney had been asked to write the theme and produce two other songs for the Peter Sellers/Ringo Starr satire movie “The Magic Christian”. He went into the studios with the Iveys and came out with a hit record. The subsequent album released just over a month later in January 1970 comprised of these three tracks, other new recordings and some re-workings of titles included on their Iveys album that had been only in a few countries in the previous July. In total Paul produced three tracks on the album with the others produced by Tony Visconti and Mal Evans.
The 1991 CD included two bonus tracks. The 2010 edition includes five. These include previously unreleased versions of “And Her Daddy’s A Millionaire” and “I’ve Been Waiting”, “Mrs Jones” (remix) and previously unreleased mono mixes of “Sali Bloo” and “See-Saw Granpa”.

This was Badfinger’s second album which made its debut in November 1970 and was the first to include Joey Molland in the line-up.
It is largely remembered because it contains the hit single “No Matter What” as well as “Without You” – a song not released as a single by the group but later covered with enormous success by Harry Nilsson and later still by Mariah Carey.
No Dice was mainly produced by ex-Beatles engineer, Geoff Emerick apart from “No Matter What” and ”Believe Me” for which Mal Evans takes the production credit.
The previous CD released included five bonus cuts. We also have five but they are different: “ I Can’t Take It “ is a previously unreleased extended version, “Without You” is a studio demo of the song much closer to Harry Nilsson’s cover than the version heard earlier on the disc. “Photograph (AKA Friends Are Hard To Find)” is a different version to that which was a bonus track last time around, “Believe Me” is a lovely previously unreleased alternative version, and the studio demo version “No Matter What” closes the album.

Badfinger’s third album, and many argue, their best, Straight Up was first issued in December 1971. It was mainly produced by Todd Rundgren, apart four tracks which George Harrison produced including the ‘smash’ single “Day After Day”.
Many of the songs that appeared on this album had been worked on with Geoff Emerick prior to George and Todd Rundgren coming on board. On the previous CD release these were spread between the No Dice and Straight Up albums with three tracks left unissued. We remedy this now by including those unreleased songs “Baby Please”, “No Good At All”, and “Sing For The Song” as bonus songs on this album along with the previously released “I’ll Be The One” plus the earlier version of “Name Of The Game” and the US singles mix of “Baby Blue”.
